Aldi – Beaumont French Roast

Aldi…a place where things are cheaper.  Aldi is owned by the same people that bring us Trader Joe’s – a grocer I am more familiar with.  It’s a little different – quarter for a cart, no bags at the checkout, limited choices of coffee (last one is probably not a big deal unless you are me).  Beaumont coffee is the brand they offer and I believe it is only offered at Aldi.  I was there buying some milk and other things and decided to try some.

I got French Roast Ground because I am currently not around a grinder and Aldi did not supply one for me to use.  So I brewed this in a 12-Cup brewer.  This is not a first time and not my first choice.  I do prefer a french press but I was limited in my options for this one.  However, I know it is safe to say that there are better French Roasts available to purchase.  This is a cheap option but sometimes value is not what the best indication of a smart purchase.  I would go elsewhere.

Quoth the bag:

100% Premium Arabica Pure Coffee

Here at Beaumont you can discover your true passion for everything coffee.  We live and breathe the whole experience, traveling the world sourcing, roasting and blending the finest beans, offering you the chance to explore and experience our aromatic blends.
